Superman: Doomsday

American animated superhero film that was released in 2007. It is based on the DC Comics storyline, “The Death of Superman.” The movie focuses on Superman’s return and death. Warner Bros. It is animated and the first film in DC Universe Animated Original Movies. Despite its similar animation style and Bruce Timm’s involvement in the film, it is not set within DC Animated Universe that Timm and Paul Dini created. It received mixed reviews from critics. They praised the animation’s more violent tone than other adaptations, but they called it disappointing. However, it grossed $10,000,000 on a $3.5 million budget, making it a commercial success.
